Delco's Original Steaks & Hoagies: Irresistible Hoagies and Steaks in Chadds Ford

Like many others on here excellent cheesesteak. We live in Illinois from Philly(Illinois sucks worse than PA) and know what a good cheesesteak and hoagie are. Stopped here to eat on the way to Longwood Gardens. Family also enjoyed a buffalo chicken cheesesteak and a chicken salad hoagie.

I was torn between the regular cheesesteak and large. Friends convinced me to get a large…I didn’t realize how huge it was! I ended up taking half home and eating it the next day. The mozzarella sticks were delicious too. The prices are very reasonable for what you get! The staff were super friendly and were very accommodating to our group of 9 people.

I ordered 3 large cheesesteaks and was shocked at the cost. Little did I know, 3 large cheesesteaks is enough to feed 9 adults. I have leftover cheesesteaks for days. The price is right, my order was wrong. Next time I’ll be getting smalls! One of my favorite cheesesteak places

Originally grew up in Kensington, lived in Jersey a few years and left the area for the military over 30 years ago. Always appreciated a good cheesesteak and especially a good roast pork and provvy! Had heard good things about Delco and had to give them a shot. Hit them up last week when back in town. The service was great, awesome peeps working there. You can tell the locals love it, I noticed a few come in, had a great vibe. Most importantly, the food was amazing! You do not get cheated with any sandwich, packed with quality meat. I was told the minute steak is sliced fresh daily and I was told they use Aversa rolls from South Jersey. Me and my family absolutely loved this cheesesteak and will rank it up there with any of Philly’s top places. The roast pork was excellent as well. I love mine with long hots, but unfortunately, I was told there is a shortage right now and they were unavailable. I subbed other hot peppers and it didn’t disappoint! If you live nearby, consider yourself lucky. If you don’t, consider a road trip, it’s worth it. Great people and great food, what else is there? I highly recommend this place. Come out and support your local businesses and avoid the chains!

I have been here 3 times since traveling to Pennsylvania since first of the year, overall ridiculous value on there sandwich prices. If you order large you should be able to feed a small family. The first two times I ordered small, and felt they probably made a mistake and walked away thinking I cheated them. On my last visit I admit maybe I didn’t hear or it was just busy so I don’t think I was asked what size, anyway I got a large and it lasted two days.

Great cheesesteak! The staff were friendly and quick. It got busy here during lunch time, so if you're in a hurry might want to call in your order before you go or try to go before or after the lunch rush. The staff were efficient though and the food was well worth the wait!

Hands down one of the best Cheesesteaks I've had in years. On my last visit to the area my brother brought me by here for lunch the day before we left. Upon walking in the door you basically see a small no frills establishment. There's a counter where you place your order and then you fill your drink yourself after they pass you a cup and then take a seat at one of the tables in or booths that line the other wall. BTW, the place was spotless. My brother and I each ordered a cheesesteak each with grilled onions and split a basket of curly fries then grabbed a booth. No less than 10 minutes later our cheesesteaks arrived. They were huge and by huge I mean loaded down with meat. The basket of fries was no slouch either. I could tell by the aroma coming off the sandwich that this meal was going to be finished here, now and that most likely I was going to be taking a nap that afternoon and probably wouldn't want dinner. The cheesesteak was delicious and also very well made. Normally a sandwich like this starts to fall apart by the time you're finishing up however there was no grease to this sandwich and the bread held up to the last bite. I can't wait to come back here and get another sandwich. In fact I'm going to get 2 so I can bring one home back to VA.

Just stopped at Delco’s & it was absolutely delicious!! We will never stop anywhere else on the way home from the airport again. Delcos is our new fave!! Staff were so nice, all of our food was hot and tasty, cheesesteak huge and mind blowing.
